At Empresas Agrícolas San Pablo, we combine experience, vision, and commitment to help transform the agricultural landscape of Puerto Rico. Our story began in 1985, when Pedro Vázquez and Carmen Pol started farming coffee and plantains on just five cuerdas of land in Lares, Puerto Rico, with the support of family members and government agencies. That small effort quickly grew into Vivero San Pablo, marking the beginning of a long-standing journey in Puerto Rican agriculture.

Over the years, our passion for farming led us to diversify into the production of ornamental plants, fruit trees, and coffee, and later into agricultural structures and innovative technologies such as hydroponic systems. As we continued to grow, we acquired larger farms, traveled abroad to learn about the future of agriculture, and began importing and installing custom agricultural structures from Europe and other international markets.

This evolution gave rise to Empresas Agrícolas San Pablo, Inc., a pioneer in greenhouse manufacturing in Puerto Rico, offering proprietary designs and agricultural solutions adapted to local climate conditions and production needs. Today, we operate from our farm in Barrio Buenos Aires, Lares, providing a comprehensive selection of agricultural supplies, including growing media, fertilizers, specialized plastics, agricultural netting, coffee processing equipment, and much more.

Throughout our history, we have collaborated with schools, universities, government institutions, rehabilitation programs, and community-based projects across the island. What began as a family dream has grown into a solid, forward-thinking company that continues to evolve, innovate, and cultivate opportunities for the future of agriculture in Puerto Rico.
